Nice..but it was only a dream...

wondering what that picture is??

well....it's a graphic tablet..one of my most wanted items...^^-

sleek huh?

This is the latest model from Wacom, Intuos 4.

*sigh*

Anyway, back to the topic. I had a dream the other day.

Someone was telling a whole bunch of people (I was in that bunch) that he/she(I forgot who was he/she) had a sack full of gold coins. Fake gold coins. Although it was fake, it has the ability to grant wishes.

So, I asked "Is that true?" I didn't believe it.

Then, he/she offered me a coin and asked me to make a wish. And I did. I wished for Intuos 4. XD

A few moments later, nothing happened. I had expected for it to appear out of the blue in a cloud of dust but it didn't happen.

I caught a glimpse of a label somewhere on the sack. It said:

[something something] - (??) days

[another thing another thing] - (??) days

International shipping - 3-4 weeks

[some other stuffs] - (??) months

Since Intuos 4 is NOT available in Malaysia or anywhere nearby, it needed to be shipped internationally. Then, I was thinking, "What kind of wish makes you wait? =.=; Oh well, patience is virtue~"

And he/she distributed the fake gold coins for the others to try. LOL.

Somehow, my dream sped up. The 4 weeks wait was over. I got my Intuos 4. He/she said, "See! What did I tell you?! XD"

I jumped with joy with a big grin carved on my face. Hahahah. Out it came from its box. Black and sleek. It's edges were smooth and clean.

Then, everything went blank. Dream's over. Time to wake up.

..........

..

................

Aih. Why must it be a dream? WHY?

That, is an official trailer for Intuos 4. It was also used in DA as an attraction to join a contest. Yea, Wacom has an account there.

I wanted to join the contest. The prizes were soooooo yummy! But I didn't join it. No time. The stupid mid-year exams were REALLY REALLY near at that time and when exam's over, contest closed. T.T

But I'm glad I did not join anyway. I saw the semi-finalist entries the other day. Gosh! Your jaw could drop when you see their artworks. Most of the entries were painting and airbrushing. BEAUTIFUL entries. Aih~

Need to practice more! XD Heck, I don't even own a scanner! I need more "artists' tools". *rubs hands*

I shall obtain them ONE DAY!! *smirk*

p/s: I'm not asking anyone to get one for me. The price is just crazy. $349 for a medium sized one. I'll get my own one when I earn my wage. XD

Happy Holidays!!

There's only 6 more days of holidays left. 6 more carefree life until the dreaded gates of school re-opens.

Well, this time round of holidays is definitely very different than the usual way I spend them.

Usual way: wake up late, surf net all day & night, sleep late, watch tv, laze around.

This time, I've been waking up early about 8.30am. Weird. What's even more weird is that I was NOT waken up by anyone. Woke up by myself. LOL.

Then, I'll have my breakfast. First few days was breakfast + Hana Kimi manga. Now that I've done reading all chapters of Hana Kimi, it's newspaper and sudoku. After that, it's blast songs from computer and homework + revising. O.O

Never did thought I would even touch the books during holidays. Hahahah! So, I've done quite a lot of unfinished homework. LOL.

Yea, then it's lunch and somehow I began to play the piano again after more than 3-4 years of not playing it. I'm now playing Forever Love by TVXQ. 5 days of practice and I could play the first 2 pages quite smoothly. I'm happy. XD

Yea...then it's sweep floor, cook rice and bath. Then, KBS! Watch variety shows. Hahahah..

After that, dinner. Then movies! So far I've watched Red Cliff, Red Cliff II, Memento Mori (Whispering Corridors 2), Voice Letter (Whispering Corridors 4) and 1 Litre of Tears.

I wanted to blog about them but then I thought it was just too much of a bother to do so. Hahahah. But I can tell you Red Cliff is a GREAT movie. Super smart. Highly recommended. The only flaw about that movie was the blood. Yes. The blood. It's too bright red in colour. Real blood should have been a little darker. Other than that, it's a great movie. Thumbs up!

Memento Mori and Voice Letter was......confusing. I don't really get the ending. Ah well, 1 Litre of Tears was just sad. The main actress is just superb. All her actions, crippled movements, stuttering speech and expressions' are just amazing. She really carried the character. And yes, I cried. So what? XP

So....that's about it. Oh yea! My parents are finally joining ICCC. Now I will at least have some access to a swimming pool, well, not that I know how to swim or anything but at least now I get to learn right? ^^- Bought a swimming suit and goggles the other day. LOL. I'm happy.

Yea. Happy holidays. ^^-

Oh, bother~!

Ballet Concert~!! Ballet Concert~!! Ballet Concert~!!

Yada..yada..yada..

That's a "hot issue" in school..for now.

It's announced at assembly most of the time, if not everyday. It's annoying.

Not that I do not support it, Well, actually I don't support it. At ALL.

Can't the school just have Pesta Ria or something else which involves ALL of the students?!

This concert only concerns the dancers and prefects. (Maybe some librarians as well.) And not to forget the choir.

What does the rest of the students do? We would have to BUY tickets to watch it.

What happens when your class teacher happens to stupidly bought all of the unsold tickets (class' portion), say about 4 tickets?

Oh, those students from that class who DID NOT buy the tickets have to share out the money and pay for the tickets.

Would the student be willing?

Well, I'M NOT!! Although it's just RM4.60, it's still money isn't it?! Sheesh.

The unsold tickets were supposed to be returned in the first place!! There was no such thing as "Principal said 5S1 must sell all of the tickets," I believe.

If it is true that the principal said that, WOW. The discrimination to "smart and so-called rich students".

I just don't get why and how teachers link smart and rich together.

They always say, "Aiya, I know you 5S1 girls very rich wan...RM4.60 only ma..Cannot give meh?"

HELLO??!! NOT ALL STUDENTS FROM 1ST CLASSES ARE RICH!! Grrrr....

Anyway, back to my willingness.

It feels like certain someone is forcing us 5S1 girls who did not buy the tickets to pay for her foolishness. No one told you to buy the tickets with your own money. No one said you could not return the tickets. No one said that students MUST buy the unsold tickets. NO ONE!

Wrong usage of power? Sounds like that to me. Sheesh.

And one more annoying thing in school would be the misuse of the P.A. System in the principal's office.

What's more? The person misusing it IS the PRINCIPAL.

Everyday you would hear the P.A. System go "Ding! Dong! I would like [this certain someone] to see me now," or "Miss/Mrs [whoever] please see me before you go home today."

Why is it annoying? It interrupts classes because the speakers in the class are so loud or maybe the speaker is speaking too closely to the microphone. As if you're in a school for the hearing impaired.

*rolls eyes*

========================================================

Alright. Happy news now. LOL.

Exam results are out. All of them. I'm fine with my marks but still not satisfied. I know I could've done better. Aihx.

I wonder what position will I get this time. *keeps fingers crossed*

This Sunday. Starwalk!! Woot!

Jin Yuen helped me to take my goody bag. Somehow the person she was dealing with accidentally gave her the wrong sized shirt. So I got XL instead of L. =.=;;

Luckily it's not THAT huge. It's just longer. LOL.

Yea, 10km walk this Sunday. I hope I can make it. I mean at LEAST get a cert. I didn't get one last year. T^T

YIJERN HWAITING!!! YIJERN GANBATEH!!! XD

And of course, swimming. I've learned how to swim slightly. My mum is teaching me freestyle. ^^- I think I'm going to swim again tomorrow.

Oh OH yea!! My Windows Live Messenger has finally SIGNED ME IN!!!!!! *jumps with joy*

It shocked me at first so I was shouting with joy after I saw the "online" sign. Luckily there was no one else but me. XD

Hmm..what else?

Check out this blog. (Milk Toof) It's uber cute! Ikaru told me about this. Ickie and Lardee~ XD

Yea. That's bout it. Seems like complains occupied this post more than happy news. LOL.

See ya~

Ipoh Starwalk 2009

Ipoh Starwalk was held last Sunday which was the 21st of June 2009. And oh boy! There were a lot of participants. Most of them were in the non-competition category.

This year, I had decided to challenge myself a little. So I joined the competition category. ^^-

I hold no hope of winning any prize except for getting the certificate and that meant I had to complete the 10km walk under 100 minutes.

Registration was open in March if I'm not mistaken. I filled in this form and submitted to the Star. ^^-

And so, few days before the big walk I asked Jin Yuen to help me collect my goody bag as well as my mother's. Somehow, the person handed the wrong sized shirt to Jin Yuen. So I got XL instead of L. =.=|| Luckily my mother's shirt was the right size, M. Also, it's lucky that the shirt was just longer instead of wider. So, I still could wear it. XD

And so, the big walk came at last. When I opened my eyes, the sun was bright. It almost felt like it was 10.00am. I rushed to the clock and looked at it. It really WAS 10.00am. I ran out to the living room and found my parents there. I asked why didn't they wake me up for the walk and they said, "Call you also no response. Now finish already lor."

I got a big shock. My mouth was wide open. Then, my cousin sister came in with her parents. They were holding out certificates from the walk. My mouth went wider. "They didn't even register for the walk! How could they get the certificate???" a voice boomed in my head. I was speechless. Really speechless. Then everything turned black.

I heard someone calling me. I opened my eyes. The whole room was dark. I sat up in confusion. "Wait, that was a dream wasn't it?" I mumbled to myself. I saw the clock and it read 5.45am. I got out of bed and walked to the kitchen to brush my teeth. "That was really a dream wasn't it?" I questioned myself, still uncertain of which is reality.

"Ei, where did you put my shirt ah?" my mother asked.

At that moment, I just confirmed that the present moment is reality. I pointed to the white shirt dangling at the edge of a yellow plastic chair. "Neh! There also cannot see. Sakai," I teased her.

She pouted and made a funny sound, snatched up the shirt and went into her room to change. I, myself changed too and took out my cap, handphone, some money and food candies. They were all stuffed into my pocket. Then, I had bread and milo for breakfast. Urgh! Bread for breakfast never did taste good.
Note to self: Always eat bread later in the morning.

Then we set out. My father drove us there. Before we even reached the stadium, the whole road was already jammed with vehicles. The stadium was brightly lit with the stadium lights. We got down some distance away from the stadium and walked there. I had to escort my mother half-way to the velodrome. Then I myself had to walk to the competition category reporting center which is the track and field area. How unfortunate of me who thought that I could take the short cut by going through it instead of going one big circle around it. I had to go around it.

When I traded my reporting ticket with an orange band, I stood around feeling alone. T^T Maybe I made a mistake for entering the competition category. I saw some participants walking back to the starting line and I followed them. Oh, that was such a big mistake! We were supposed to wait in the stadium but no one told us that except for the emcee which was at the starting line. *sigh* I had to walk back to the stadium.

Before the race started, I'm already starting to feel tired. That's not good. In the stadium, I saw Putt and Estee but we splitted when they directed us out of the stadium to the starting line. We started the race at about 7.20am perhaps? I'm not sure. But we started.

I was somewhere waaaayyy behind. T^T

Then it's all walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk walk...and some more walk walk walk walk walk.

I had my handsfree connected to my handphone for radio. Too bad my phone is not advanced enough to store songs. XD But a radio is good enough.

So, during the walk, my legs ached, my shirt got soaked in my sweat and I saw some funny things. The bands, some wore them on the wrist (supposed to be there), some on their hair, some on their fingers, some hold them casually, some put them in their bag. But I saw this guy who was from the non-competition category. He had his blue band around his left ear. I looked at it not knowing to laugh or to frown. LOL.

Then, there was also the group of friends. Well, most people walk in groups of friends. I saw this group after taking some water provided along Tambun Road. One guy splashed water on his friend. I snickered a little and went on walking.

Then, there was also the spectators. As we walked through the residential area, some old folks were standing at their front doors and watched the big group of people walk past their house. I thought to myself, "What's so nice to watch a group of sweaty people walking?"

Then there was also the dirty people. I do not mean that literally though. I meant it as in cheating and littering. Every year, there's definitely some lazy people who takes short cuts here and there and litter bugs who throws their plastic drink cups at the side of the road. There's no difference in that this year.

Yada yada yada...when I was closing in to the stadium, my mum caught up with me. It's a little embarassing to have someone older than you and started 10-15 minutes later than you to catch up to you. XP

My mum told me that she fell and pointed to me her bleeding knee. T^T When we reached the stadium and got our certificates, I took her to the PBSM to get it treated. Then, we went around the stalls there.

The Milo line was long and somehow from 2 lines, it converged into a single line. *raises eyebrow* I saw Yen and Kang Ye there. Kang Ye did not see me though. >.>

The Milo was delicious as always. I love Milo. XD Then we went to get free Spritzer mineral water. Got 2 bottles each and we lined up for a game at the Magnum stall.

You have to throw 4 ping pong balls into the orange/yellow part of the painted egg cartons.

1 ball - a Magnum pen
2 balls - a Magnum notepad
3 balls - I dunno.

I only got one ball in. T^T My mum got 2. SOBX!!!!

Then I lined up for popcorn. Yummy popcorn at the Digi stall. Then, I wanted to line up for the Pallas Spin & Win game. But the line was crazily long and it's not moving.

Yea...then we went into the air-conditioned hall. It was crowded. Real crowded. There were some people singing. Oh boy~they can't sing well. Tsk tsk tsk. There was also a ballet performance of "The Sound of Music". On contrary of enjoying the dance, I enjoyed the songs. I grew up watching "The Sound of Music". ^^-

There was also a performance by some dancers from Motion Masterz. I did not watch them because the moves and steps are so cliched. I watched it plenty of times. But I'm not saying they're not good though.

We stayed for the lucky draw to end hoping that our numbers would be called out at least for one prize. Unfortunately, neither our numbers were called. T^T We went home right after that. Had a shower, lunch and nap.

Oh yea...I found Pn Pung's picture in the Star Online.

Ahahah. Those 2 girls are her daughters and the guy is her husband. ^^- I see that they are eating popcorns. XD

Ah well...that's all I supposed. ^^-
