Coming Soon

Ah~

It's about time I updated my blog..hahahh~

Well, trials are now over and the Raya holidays have started. I'm not expecting any A's at all...seriously..I did not study at all and I'm not exaggerating it. I only read through the day before the exam or on the morning of the exam..

So...............fat chance I would get "good" results...most probably C's and D's and maybe one or 2 B's...oh well...I shall reap what I sow.

I watched "Coming Soon" just now. A Thai horror movie. It's quite good and sad actually. For the first time I shed a drop of tear watching a horror movie.

(Chen is Shane, Peoll is Yod in the trailer)

Well, it's about a movie called "Evil Spirit" which was filmed based on a true story. The movie was not released when the whole horror thing happened. That's why it's called "Coming Soon".

So, the movie "Evil Spirit" talks about a mentally ill woman who burned her children. She then kidnaps other children in her village and takes them back to her house. Back there, she would dig out their eyeballs so that the children would think that that was their house. One day, the villagers found out about this incident so they barged into their house and hung her. But then, her angered spirit still roams and she goes about killing ...you know the usual revenge thing.

This guy named Chen works at the cinema with his friend, Peoll and ex-girlfriend, Som. (Som is Peoll's sister also). So, Peoll told Chen to screen (means film illegally) the yet to be released "Evil Spirit" for pirated CDs. Chen doesn't like watching horror movies so he stayed in the film room while Peoll took the video camera and screened the movie from inside the theater. However, Chen fell asleep and the next morning he went to look for Peoll in the cinema but he only found the video camera. The camera recorded Peoll backing away in fear on the floor.

Chen thought it was weird but he somehow had to screen the movie because it's the order from a gangster like guy. So, since Peoll's missing and he could not reach him, Chen went to screen the movie on his own. In the movie, he saw Peoll's body in the movie with his eyes dug out. He got scared and ran out of the cinema and he got haunted by the ghost now.

So, he went back to work the next day but suffers from the constant appearance of the ghost. Oh, by the way, the woman's name is Somba or something like that. Okay, back to the story. Chen was found cowering and shivering in fear by a female colleague in the elevator. So, she called Som to look after him for the night. Som knew about what was causing him the fear and she looked up informations on the net. She found out where that whole incident happened and so she went to that place with Chen to try calm the spirit.

They went there and found out that the original Somba is still alive and is at a hospital. WOW. So who is the ghost? Turns out that it was the actress who acted as Somba. She died while filming the hanging scene. By right, if someone died filming the movie, it shouldn't even air or get passed around. It's disrespectful to the dead. So sad. Well, in the end Chen did die in the movie while Som watched his eyes being dug out. I cried there. So sad. The actress line was "Want to watch me die?????!!!!"

The movie aired anyway and many people watched it. In the movie you can see Peoll, Chen and Som's body with their eyes dug out. I suppose Som watched the movie as well to die together, if you get what I mean. So, I wonder how many more bodies will the actress get to fill up the dusty old room in the movie. She'll be busy. I mean, it was full house in the cinema. The moral? Always make sure the safety of the filming equipments and never ever air someone's death. Ever! halo.gif

The actor for Chen is quite good looking don't you think? LOL. The actress as Som is actually pretty too~ XD

Now...I wonder what I'm going to wear for Grad Night. Hmm~~
